dB reduction values are as follows:
Rw “Weighted Reduction” is calculated over a standard noise spectrum and incorporates a weighted correction for the human ear.

C is the calculated value in reference to the sound spectrum commonly associated with background noise. For example, a school ground, wildlife or rustling tree leaves.

Crt is the calculated value in reference to deep vibrations. This would include traffic or low flying aircraft.

Sealed units incorporating Edgetech Warm Edge technology have been proven to reduce noise transmission by up to 2db over units with standard aluminium spacer. Super Spacer is made from closed polymer foam that transmits very little sound.
